Official Guest Terms & Property Conditions for Hotel Prabhupada, Puri
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully as these conditions incorporate the basis on which bookings for Hotel Prabhupada are accepted. The Terms and Conditions below apply to all direct bookings made via the hotel’s official website, front desk, and authorized reservation systems.

By making a reservation or using this Site, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Valid Identification Card Required
As per Government of India notification, every resident guest is required to carry valid proof of identity (Passport, Driving License, AADHAAR Card, or Voter ID) and present it at check-in. PAN Card is NOT accepted as a valid identification proof. Foreign nationals must present a valid Passport and valid Indian Visa on arrival. The hotel reserves the right to refuse check-in without valid ID.
Reservation & Cancellation Terms
Individual reservations are subject to our standard cancellation policy:
- More than 2 days before check-in: Free Cancellation (0% charge).
- 0 to 2 days before check-in: Non-refundable (Full stay charge applied).
- No Show: 100% Non-refundable / No adjustment.
- Festival Periods: NO CANCELLATION & AMENDMENT TO BE MADE DURING FESTIVAL PERIODS (Durga Puja, Holi, Diwali, Christmas & New Year).
Property Damage & Loss Policy
• In case of any damage to the property by the in-house guest, the actual replacement/repair cost will be charged to the in-house guest account.
• In case of any losses or damage to the property by a visitor, the amount has to be recovered directly from the visitor.
• In case of any losses to the property by a guest’s visitor, the cost will be recovered from the visitor or from the hosting registered guest.
• Property damage charges solely depend upon the assessment and decision of the management of Hotel Prabhupada.
Visitor's Policy & Security Rules
• Every visitor must be registered at the Reception in the Visitor’s Register upon entering the hotel.
• Visitors are not allowed inside guest rooms; they are welcome to be comfortably seated at the Reception lounge.
• In special cases, visitors may be allowed to guest rooms only if accompanied in person by the registered in-house guest.
• No visitors are allowed inside the property after 20:00 hrs (8:00 PM).
• Especially for Photographers: All external photographers and media crews must report at the Security Gate before entering the premises.
Swimming Pool & Pet Guidelines
• Swimming Pool: Proper swimming costume is mandatory. In-house guests without a proper swimming costume will be charged Rs. 150/- per head for pool usage. Outside guests are strictly not permitted.
• Pet Policy: Pet fee is Rs. 1,200/- per day per night. A refundable security deposit of Rs. 4,000/- is collected at check-in. Pets are allowed in designated areas (Guest Room, Main Lobby, Poolside & Lawn) and prohibited in F&B dining areas. Waste must be cleaned and disposed of in outside dumpsters, failing which a fine of Rs. 300/- will be charged.
Revisions to Terms
We may revise these terms & conditions from time to time by updating this posting. The revised terms will take effect when they are posted. Your continued use of the Site and hotel services constitutes acceptance of these revised terms.
